A Typical Day at Carousel

7:00 – 8:15                 Arrival, Breakfast, Free Play

8:15 – 9:00        Bears and Dinosaurs play in centers in Bear room

                        ( if breakfast is finished)

 

9:00 – 11:30       Separate into classes according to age

                          Each class does the following activities:

 

                                   Calendar and Weather

                          Pledge

                          Exercise

                                   Theme Discussion

                                   Circle Games

                                   Story Time

                                   Readiness Activity

                                   Arts & Crafts

                  Free Play (Outside, Weather Permitting)

 

11:45 – 12:00     Clean Up and Get Ready for Lunch

12:00 – 12:30    Lunch

12:30 – 2:30      Rest Time

2:30 – 3:00       Snack

3:00 – 6:00       Indoor play (Centers, Stories, Circle game) or

                        Outside, Weather Permitting
