Daily Schedule
The daily schedule here is a sample that represents the flow of our days. Individual classroom schedules may vary slightly
- 7:00 - 9:00 - Arrival, Breakfast, Free Choice
- 9:00 - 11:00 - Educational Program
- Morning Meeting/Circle Time
- Learning Centers
We allow plenty of time for “deep play,” giving children the opportunity to fully engage in meaningful learning experiences across language, math, science, art, STEAM, blocks, dramatic play, sensory exploration, and more.
Special Classes/Classroom Visitors
- Story/story extension
- 11:00 - 11:30— Inside cleanup, Outside (weather permitting) & Prepare for Lunch
- 11:30–12:30 — Lunch
- 12:30–2:30 — Rest Time
- 2:30–3:00 — Snack & Story
- 3:00–6:00 — Outdoor Play (weather permitting)
Free-choice experiences, child-led and project-based learning, outdoor exploration, and seasonal water and mud play.
Learning in the Outdoor Classroom
At Carousel of Learning, Early Learning Center & Child Care,
the learning continues outside!
Our Outdoor Classroom extends learning beyond the walls of the classroom, offering children meaningful opportunities to create, explore, investigate, move, and connect with nature throughout the year.
Your children can play safely in one of
two fenced-in AstroTurf® playgrounds
where climbers, slides, and ample space provide opportunities for running, jumping, and climbing! We have a wide variety of other special equipment like scooters, tricycles, parachutes, and hopper balls to name a few, that are offered regularly for
endless opportunities to develop gross motor skills and core strength. All equipment is just the
right
size to safely offer the
right
amount of challenge and the
right
amount of independent play!
